Hello again,
Well this is my last day of holidays and tomorrow I am back to school. I have had a wonderful break and am ready to get stuck into the new year. Seeing all those fresh faces ready for learning is always a thrill. But getting out of bed early ...not so much!
Anyway, before I get back in the swing I thought I would share a layout I did during my holidays of my beautiful granddaughter 'Aida's first birthday'.
Yes she starts kindy this year so it is only 3 years late but better late than never don't they say. I really must get more organised and catch up on more of my photos this year. (famous last words) and hopefully I will try and blog some more too. I was making a list of all the types of paper craft I do yesterday and it's no wonder \I always seem to have so many projects on the go and don't seem to get much of any one thing completed. Smashing cards, project life, off the page, albums, cards, art journaling, canvases, drawing bloom girls and water colour as well as scrapping pages. Then of course there is sewing, knitting and beading that hardly gets a look in but I would always love to do more of.
In my perfect world I would have a studio big enough to have everything at my fingertips and projects all laid out to work on bit by bit. I am very luck to have a bedroom dedicated to my craft but unfortunately I have outgrown it already. One day if I'm lucky I might build another room just for me. Wishful thinking never hurt anyone!
For all of you who are off to school too in the coming week good luck. For all the parents who are soon to be free again to do their own thing...enjoy!
Talk again soon (promise!)
Angela
