She is so talented and we walked away with two beautiful flowers and a load of inspiration. I am now covered in glue and have made a heap more and can't imagine how many others I will be able to create in the future.
I have included a couple of step by step pics for you, I'm sure you could give it a go as it is so easy. The materials you can use is endless and each type makes a different looking flower but they all use the same simple technique. So give it a go and save heaps of money on your crafting.
Cheers

Here is a selection of what I made today.
You need a metre of ribbon, lace or fabric. Tacky glue, a small circle of card, scissors and a centre. This can be bling, a brad, beads, buttons or metal accents
Place tacky glue all over your cardboard circle and place one corner of your lace on the circle as illustrated.
Create a pleat in the lace and place the base of the pleat into the glue and repeat. It gets very sticky but with time you learn how to hold it so you don't get too sticky. I found it best to wait a couple of seconds between each pleat for the lace to settle into the glue.
Continue in ever diminishing circles pleating and gluing until the whole cardboard circle is covered and then fold the centre under to finish off with a button or similar. So cute!
I made this one with fabric that I picked out some threads from the edge and used buttons.
This one is my favourite. I stamped the petals of the scalloped ribbon with script stamp, created the flower then covered in small beads and added a bead stack with clock hand between them. Looks so cool!

They are gorgeous Angela ... have you made the paper ones that you roll around too, I love them as well and use them often.
Thank you for your feedback. I was happy with them. Yes, I had done some paper ones but loved the chance to use something else. They will save me heaps on my scrap stash!
