I can't believe Easter is almost upon us! SO much for keeping my blog up to date. I do have an excuse for the last month as I have been sick (in hospital and an operation) but excuses just don't cut it. Again I am pledging to myself that I must add to my blog consistently!
I had a nice surprise when I checked this morning I actually had a comment for my last entry and I hadn't realised. Its exciting when you know someone has actually looked at your work.
Anyway, as I have started to recover I have started to do some Easter decorating.
Firstly using some foam eggs I covered them in tissue paper I had stamped with a variety of script type stamps in archival ink and then decorate with ribbon, flowers and bling. Each is little bit different but they are all in the black and white theme. They make a nice little collection on my shelf.
Then I worked on a little Easter box for a present for my Mum. I used an old box that I got a candle in. I loved its glass handle and so covered it in some pretty papers and added ribbon and flowers. I am going to add an Easter egg and some of her favourite scorched almonds and I think she will love it.
I am busy working on some more Easter presents and decorations so stay tuned for my next blog!
